Last week, my friend Skylar and I decided we wanted to go see a magician that was in town at a local theatre. I talked it over with her and we decided I would purchase the tickets and she would pay me back. I searched and searched all over for these tickets due to the show being a sold-out show! Finally, I found some half decent tickets on a ticket reselling website and I quickly snatched them up so we would be guaranteed to see the show.
Before the show, Skylar and I decided to go out to eat. We went to a Hibachi grill down the street from the theatre so we would be close. After we were finished eating, we get out to my car to see that it had a flat tire! I thought to myself, just forget the car, the show starts in 10 minutes! So, we left the car at the restaurant knowing we would take care of the flat tire issue once we were done our performance. We quickly walked the 2 blocks up the sidewalk to the theatre.
With everyone in line, time was running out to get into the theatre. Slowly but surely, we got to the door. The man at the door scanned our tickets and the scanner made a really loud “BEEP!”. He then said that our tickets said no good and sent us to customer service. Customer service proceeded to tell us that our tickets were no good since they were from a third-party website and had been sold to someone else as well.
At this point, we decided to leave and just go get my tire fixed. It was a pretty “flat” night anyways.
